Glazed Salmon With Crunchy Cucumbers

Fast, healthy and delicious.

Salmon is one of my favourite fishes, healthy, tasty and easy to prepare. We get crunchy skin and incredible soft, pink flesh. Glazed with soy sauce and mirin for an extra punch and a refreshing cucumber salad to go with it. The best of it is that it is cooked in about ten minutes and you only need one pan and one bowl!

On The Importance Of Diet Quality

The balance between flexible dieting and healthy eating habits

If you follow the average supplement company sponsored influencer, you may get the impression that healthy eating is a porridge-protein powder bowl, with some fruits on top. How To Eat More When Dieting

Eating more food to stay happy while losing fat.

The laws of thermodynamics are unforgiving. To lose body fat, we have to force our body to burn our own reserves to fuel our energy demands. This quickly devolves into “eating less of …” spiraling down to ridiculous serving sizes as you try to maintain weight loss. Hunger creeps up. Frustration levels rise. Adherence plummets. Lemon And Basil Granita

Incredibly refreshing and almost calorie free.

Zingy lemon and fragrant basil work wonderfully together, creating a refreshing harmony that, at least for a short time, brings relief from the summer heat. Chinese Boar And Plum Stew

With all the fancy trimmings.

It all started with a wonderful, oppulent piece of boar shoulder and the question “what are we going to do with it?” Chantal wanted something with dried plums and I had more of an Asian approach in mind. Luckily both fit nicely together, as plum sauce is a staple of Chinese cooking. We freestyled this recipe, tuned it up with some nice sides and toppings and can proudly attest: gorgeous! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
